Amy Koo Ai En is an Associate in the Corporate & Commercial Department of Y Kong, Wong & Partners and was admitted to the Malaysian Bar in 2023. Her practice focuses on corporate and commercial matters, with particular interest in intellectual property protection and enforcement, as well as franchise and licensing.

She is involved in drafting, reviewing and assisting in the negotiation of commercial agreements, and regularly assists in intellectual property matters, particularly trade mark registration, advisory and enforcement. Her work also includes franchise and licensing matters, where she supports clients on franchise structures, related agreements and Malaysian regulatory compliance.

Amy is also involved in legal due diligence exercises for mergers and acquisitions and in broader regulatory and compliance advisory work. She approaches her work with care, clarity and a practical mindset.
