A graduate of the University of Manchester (LL.B Hons, 2005), Chong Lii was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2007 after obtaining the Malaysian Certificate of Legal Practice. He began his career at Belden and Robert Low & Ooi, where he built a strong foundation in top-tier contentious practice before rising to senior partnership.

Chong Lii is particularly sought after for high-value, technically complex construction disputes and full-lifecycle project advisory mandates. He regularly appears before courts at all levels across Malaysia and leads the firm’s strategic engagement on cross-border construction and infrastructure matters — many involving Chinese state-owned enterprises and internationally-listed corporates operating in Malaysia.
